Location
One of the best ways to explore Brisbane is with a morning sightseeing cruise along the Brisbane River. Sit back and relax as you cruise along the waterways of Brisbane taking in the beautiful sights of its surrounding suburbs while also enjoying informative and entertaining commentary from the Captain.
The morning sightseeing cruise departs the Southbank Parklands en route past the CBD, under the Story Bridge and as far as the popular suburb of Newstead. Passengers are then given the chance to disembark the boat at Newstead at 11:15am where you can then visit Brisbane's oldest homestead, Newstead House or enjoy lunch at Breakfast Creek Hotel before re-boarding at 1:15pm. Newstead House is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday and Breakfast Creek Hotel is open for lunch every day.
Cruises departs daily from Jetty A Southbank Parklands at 10.30am and includes complimentary morning tea as well as a souvenir map.

A great relaxing cruise to see Brisbane
1 year agoA great relaxing cruise to see Brisbane. The crew were attentive and the commentary was informative and witty. The morning tea of scones, jam and cream and coffee was excellent too. We booked online with Experience Oz and were able to get a small discount using a coupon code which was also appreciated. Money well spent.

1 year agoWe booked our tour online and received a discount which was a bonus. The boat trip was great and we all enjoyed the morning tea - the staff were nice upon arrival and they were very helpful given we had 3 children with us under 10 years old. I would highly recommend this tour.
I booked the morning river cruise for me and hubby and my 2 boys
1 year agoI booked the morning river cruise for me and hubby and my 2 boys, it was a lovely way to see parts of the city and learn some of the history. We hopped off the cruise half way and had lunch and hopped back on when the boat returned about an hour later, I loved that they gave us that option. The staff were very friendly and helpful as we had a large bulky pram with us as they were happy to carry it on and off for us, definitely recommend.

3 years agoEnjoyed a great relaxing river cruise up and down the Brisbane river. You have an option of getting off at Newstead where you can check out the Newstead house or have to wander around including the famous Breakfast Creek hotel. Highly recommended! The Newstead house is must as it has an excellent view and you also go under the story bridge on the cruise. You have the optional buying meals and drinks on board at an additional cost must totally worth it! Staff are so welcoming and friendly!
