Location
For an unrivalled view of Brisbane city from the heart of its cultural centre, jump aboard Wheel of Brisbane as it circles its way around providing spectacular views of the surrounding region. This giant observation wheel provides awe-inspiring 360 degree panoramic views stretching out as far as the eye can see, and gives an uplifting experience that will take you almost 60 metres about the ground in the safety and comfort of a fully-enclosed, air conditioned capsule. As the latest addition to the Brisbane City skyline, you will be amazed by the breathtaking views across the vibrant Brisbane River.
This must-see attraction provides something for people young and old, worldwide or local, and a ride on the wheel within one of the 42 fully enclosed and air conditioned gondolas can seat up to six adults and two children in comfort. The full experience takes around 10 to 12 minutes and operates every day of the week from the middle of South Bank. Operating hours differ throughout the week; Sunday to Thursday from 10am to 10pm, and Friday and Saturday from 10am to 11pm. “ Very easy purchase and a great experience. Purchased 2 tickets on the way to The Wheel of Brisbane and saved $10 in total! The Wheel went for longer than I thought it would, the views were gorgeous and the air con was cold even on a really hot day. Staff were friendly and especially with the discount it represented value for money. Would be good if there were more drink selections e.g. beer instead of just wine.

3 weeks agoWould definitely recommend. Especially if you're trying to save money. Really easy to use the tickets, just had to show them my phone and scan it. The Ferris wheel was amazing, especially doing it at night and looking at all the city lights. Made it a very memorable experience.

2 months agoThe Wheel of Brisbane is was such a good experience. A really good view to see from the top the ride it’s really nice slow and smooth we really enjoy the ride I would recommend to others and we will definitely come and do for more Brisbane wheel its awsome.

2 months agoWe visited Wheel of Brisbane and it was easy to take the discounted ticket from Experience Oz. We are happy that the online ticket was available second after paying for a ticket as we took ticket just before going to the Wheel of Brisbane. The ticket price was 22 dollar pp but we got a ticket for $17 pp just outside the counter.
Clean air-conditioned gondolas
2 months agoClean air-conditioned gondolas, good view of Brisbane River and South Bank. Our son who is scared of heights enjoyed the ride, and the staff were friendly to encourage him to go on the ride. Beautiful view of the city lights at night, water dragons around the ponds.
Ordering tickets this way was such an easy experience and it ended being $5 cheaper per ticket

It was an amazing experience
2 months agoIt was an amazing experience. We had the capsule to ourselves so we had the privacy for a very cheap price offered by Experience Oz. My little one had loads of fun seeing the river and other buildings. This ride was what made our end of year trip to Brisbane even more amazing.

2 months agoGreat fun, good to see the city view by using the wheel. I would recommend strongly for families with kids. We had used the vouchers from experience oz and that helped to get some discounted tickets. One of the must things to do in Brisbane, South Bank.

3 months agoI got a discounted ticket from Experience Oz within 2 mins! It was quick and cheaper than normal price and still worth it to enjoy the view of Brisbane :) It took 3 rounds and had air conditioning. So you and your loved ones can enjoy the cool environment in summer. Highly recommended :)
A nice activity in Brisbane city centre
4 months agoA nice activity in Brisbane city centre. Good views across the city and the rivers. A relaxing activity the whole family can enjoy. The ability to purchase a glass of wine is also a very nice experience. Best go late afternoon to try and watch the sunset. Highly recommended.
