On the first day, the experience kicks off in the evening with an overnight camping experience under the clear, starry skies with a tasty barbecue and the opportunity to toast marshmallows on an open fire. I thought overall that the overnight Mt Warning Sunrise Walk was a very good, memorable, unique and beautiful experience. The camp site where we stayed before our walk was very nice, well maintained, clean and spacious by a creek - where you could hear the flow of the water. The campfire/ dinner was very nice overall and our tour guide very informative, friendly. The few hours we had to sleep before our early rise next morning was unfortunately disrupted by other campers near us whom made a lot of excessive noise and it made any sleep near impossible that night. Having to awake at around 3:20am...I think we all had little if any sleep at all. We had a hurried breakfast and prepared to leave the campsite and commence our walk. The walk itself was certainly a memorable, unique, beautiful experience - among nature. The only thing else I would say was the LED headlights that we were supplied with to help us see our way in the darkness - was insufficient (they did not really provide enough light), so it was fortunate for us that we also brought our own torch - as otherwise it would have made our walk far more difficult - given the terrain we had to cover along the way and I don't know what we would have done.
