Enjoy all the nature, culture and wildlife of Kuranda with this full day tour from Cairns to Rainforestation Nature Park and Kuranda village. Get up close with Aussie wildlife, immerse yourself in the lush greenery of the rainforest and witness indigenous culture in action on this comprehensive day tour. Be transferred from your accommodation in Cairns in a comfortable coach and enjoy informative commentary pointing out regional highlights from your local driver/guide as you make your way up the Kuranda Range. Arriving at Rainforestation Nature Park at approximately 9am, you'll be taken on a guided tour to see the likes of dingoes, wombats, cassowary and - of course - that tropical QLD icon the crocodile, while also having the chance to hand-feed kangaroos and even cuddle a koala.
Take a walk through the Dreamtime and take part in native Aboriginal culture as you learn how to throw a boomerang or play a didgeridoo, then sit back and watch the dancers perform in the amphitheatre. Follow it up by travelling deeper into the rainforest with a cruise aboard a purpose-built military-style Duck vessel, for a more organic look at the region's flora and fauna. Next, you'll be taken from Rainforestation Nature Park into the popular Kuranda Village - the "village in the rainforest", where you'll be able to wander and absorb the atmosphere, browse the handcraft shops and more before heading back to Cairns at around 5:00pm. The ultimate way to soak in the Tropical North QLD natural and cultural worlds - book yourself a Rainforestation and Kuranda tour online today.
“ What a great way to spend the morning seeing animals, going on an army duck and watching aboriginal dancing and learning about their culture. Afterwards, the bus took us into the Kuranda Village where we had a wonderful lunch at Frogs cafe followed by going to the Butterfly Sanctuary and then we went to the markets, unfortunately, we didn’t get to the markets until 3:10 pm and the markets start closing at 3 pm so we missed the majority of them.

I had a really good time on my tour it was a great experience. The rain forest station that we went to was average but still good. The best of the tour was Kuranda village it was really good the markets, shopaholic, and cafes were spot on the village had just about Everingham that was expected.
“There is plenty of free time in Kuranda, with some great restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and attractions, so be sure to take some extra money with you so you can have a delicious lunch and maybe even purchase some souvenirs.”
