What you need to know
Meet the Operator

Experience the thrill of white water rafting on the Barron River's grade two and three rapids. Departing your Port Douglas accommodation with organised transfers, you'll be taken to the river before being briefed on the adventure ahead. Perfect for first-time rafters, the Barron River's gentle rapids act as a great learning field for a range of ages.

Led by an experienced guide, you'll be taught all you need to know and given all necessary equipment before climbing into the inflatable eight-person raft and paddling your way down the river. The river passes through the Barron Gorge National Park and through the infamous Rooster Trail where the boat will have their photo taken.

Complimentary tea and coffee will be served following the white water rafting adventure, before the return transfer to accommodation in Port Douglas.

Book your half-day white water rafting adventure on the Barron River with accommodation transfers from Port Douglas online today.

Make sure to let your River Guide know if you’re nervous or if you’re really enthusiastic about the day, then they can tailor the trip more to suit your expectations..

You’re going to need your energy today! Because we travel about 2 hours South of Cairns to get to the Tully River, it’s a good idea to have some breakfast before your pick up in the morning.
