My partner and I attended a school excursion with my nieces class to Australia Zoo for the day

My partner and I attended a school excursion with my nieces class to Australia Zoo for the day. We all had great fun, the animals and beautiful and the staff are so lovely. Highlight of our day was definitely the Croc show. We will definitely be back!

I'd been to Australia Zoo previously and loved it
Leon Tomlinson 2 days ago

I'd been to Australia Zoo previously and loved it. I went back again and was not disappointed. The animals were amazing and the close encounters were the highlight of the trip. We visited the kangaroo enclosure and fed them, but were a little disappointed that there was so few around but over all was a great day. Would stay away from the cafes though, the food is very over priced.

Bought my family of 5 tickets through Experience Oz and found it was the best price available

Bought my family of 5 tickets through Experience Oz and found it was the best price available. So easy to get tickets to your phone, that could be scanned at entry & includes extra discounts too! We LOVED Australia Zoo! For me the highlight was the African experience - a beautiful majestic place. To see Rhinos, Zebra & Giraffes walking & grazing together in wide open spaces will probably be the closest my family ever get to seeing the real thing.

Crickey what a day
Sam Tyler 6 days ago

Crickey what a day! Get your waking shoes on, because this zoo is HUGE. We went as a group of 6 adults (one in a wheelchair) and 5 children (aged from 10 months to 6 years). Most areas were very well equipped for wheelchair and pram access. The only section that we had issues with access was Bindi's Island (too uneven for wheelchairs). We were very impressed with the open plain African exhibit. All the animals looked well cared for, with spacious, clean and natural enclosures. We will be back!

We visited the zoo on a Sunday and had a great day out
Rachelle McCauley 1 week ago

We visited the zoo on a Sunday and had a great day out. We booked a Giraffe experience and got to hand feed and have our photo taken which was a great experience for our family! We love how clean the zoo always is and how friendly and informative the staff are. Watching the Lemars run wild on Bindis island was amazing too, I love the sense of freedom they have and how you can be so close with no fences between you. Highly recommended for a family day out.

Great family day out
Debbie Thompson 1 week ago

Great family day out, great memories made! The girls and I loved getting up and close to the giraffes, feeding them and getting our photo taken with them. The girls also enjoyed seeing the meerkats. Great to get up and close to the animals.

Amazing time there
Breannon Mcdevitt 2 weeks ago

Amazing time there! So much to see and very pram friendly as well as many shady spots to stop with toddlers to rest. Love the train that makes it easier to get around the park. But sad that there weren’t many kangaroos to feed but still, all in all, it was a fabulous day.

It was a fantastic family experience
Kylie Goodwin 2 weeks ago

It was a fantastic family experience, there is something for every age. I have 2 boys under 4, we didn’t stay for the shows. Really loved meerkats, rhinos, lemur, zebras. Will say that the only disappointment was the tigers, they only had one and it was asleep the hole time and we went back. Would recommend and I have also found another zoo nearby wildlife HQ prices are cheaper than Australia Zoo. They are located at the big pineapple so that is where we are going next.

Such a great deal
Kimberley Ramadge 3 weeks ago

Such a great deal! Loved Australia Zoo and would recommend anyone to check out experience oz for great deals. It helps keep the dollars in your pocket to enjoy other experiences on your holiday. The zoo was great not just for little ones but for us adults too.

Australia Zoo was amazing
Jo McClymont 4 weeks ago

Australia Zoo was amazing!! The kangaroos were the highlight... they were so friendly and let us pat them, even though we had no food. This was the highlight of our holiday. Worth the drive. We also got to pat a koala and saw a great variety of animals. Definitely need a full day for the zoo... it is huge.
